The Beeswax Art of Anne Vis

Beeswax art of Anne VisDelicate, emotive, empassioned, delightful — these are the reactions I have to Anne Vis’ beeswax artwork.  There is a other worldliness about it, pure and gentle.  There is a quiet beauty that carries a vitality and spirit of loving light.  How can an expression be more than that?  The spirit dwells here, and it’s beautiful.  Visit Anne on the Web to see all her beeswax art and many other works in differing mediums at: http://www.sunnysites.org/sunnysites/html/artgallery.htm

The Photography of Tobias Zeising

Tobias Zeising Photography,1

Delicate precision and light, this is what first draws you in.  Then his subject matter traps you, and you are forever enchanted by this young man’s eye.

Tobias Zeising photography

I found Zeising’s website quite by accident, out scouting for a script on another website which had a link to it.  And I was hooked.  The nature photography is absolutely spiritual to experience.  The Expressive gallery is stimulates thought and curiosity.  The Macros excite the eye and mind, and Architecture provides an almost counter-dimensional view of our world.

Tobias Zeising, 3

I admire the mind that perceives in the manner of Zeising. It both symbolizes and literalizes reality, bringing to it a surreal distinction that allows the soul to drink meaning and significance.

Says Tobias: “Photography has been a hobby of mine for over five years.  I love it to capture nature and the strong spirit of the moment.”

You can find Tobias Zeising’s photography on the Web at: http://www.aditu.de/

The Art of Lisa Whipkey

The Art of Lisa WhipkeyFeeling.

Art which magically sweeps you into its experience.

Moment.

Life.

The art of Lisa Whipkey holds a special gift for your spirit.  When you experience one of her special pieces, regardless of which one, your spirit pauses, breathes, and is enchanted.

For an artist/photographer to have such a touch, their works reaching to affect the viewer in such a deeply moving manner as this, you just know she’s got the heart, the soul, the kindled presence so very precious and rare.

Wonderful.

The Art of Tik, aka aniOcean

World is Yours by aniOcean

The Art of aniOcean, graphic designer and artistDramatic, dynamic, explosive are three words which came to mind seeing this young graphic designer’s work.  Utilizing photographic subjects, digital effects, and a dynamic vision, his work has a powerful effect on the viewer.

Immediately, his works bring me to think of Fantasy worlds, rich in danger and delight.  I’d like to see more of this artist’s work as he grows and develops.  I’d like to see more of his portfolio than I found available on his space at humble.com

Shown here are World is Yours, Ocean Blue, and Opera

Do visit him and encourage his art at: http://www.humblevoice.com/aniocean

Mark Boyle, photography - tact, finesse, framing, and vision

Mark Boyle photography, top

Mark Boyle Photography, pairA visit to Mark Boyle’s website brings you to see some most impressive views of a world few of us will ever have the time and know-how to find and see.

The gift of Mark’s work is the careful craft, tact and finesse he holds within his ability to find the vision that really shows the beauty and impact of his subjects.  His framing — where and what he includes and excludes, then how he balances it in composition — is impeccable, powerful, and effective.

He brings the subject into our experience, allowing us to see a world that really speaks, that holds our minds, that brings us a true desire to walk there. That’s magic — true magic.

For anyone who really wants to “go there,” Mark Boyle Photography is the website to visit. Marvelous.

Visit him on the Web at: http://www.markboyle.com.au/

Back from Vacation, and Art Reviews Start Again Tomorrow

I’m back.  I’m almost caught up with all the details required to get life running normally.  Art reviews begin again tomorrow.  I’ll probably do a run of them to get caught up on my own list, and sort through the requests during the rest of the week to see which I’ll tackle and which I won’t.

Hang in there.
