My newest piece called “The Journey Out” is about coming out of the chaos and into the light at the other end of the tunnel.  It builds up that expectation of looking over your shoulder at what you survived and knowing that the worst is over and hope is building up strong on the other side.  It is about giving thanks to the light in your hand that never burned out during the long dark road.  All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish one small, tiny flame.  And, well, I think that is something to be thankful for.
