“Sinuosity #1 “ is an intriguing faux charcoal drawing that is actually a piece of digital art.
The softly yielding curved and twisted surface of the main feature, with its diagonal movement and smoothly flowing radiant sheen, is offset and complimented by several diagonals and a background with a rougher textured surface.
This is an enticing composition that is both relaxing and intriguing. The beguiling flow is almost mesmerizing in its allure.
Artist E.L. Kinnally’s signature art piece, Sinuosity #1, has been featured in various blogs and newsletters, and in addition to local recognition, the artist was selected as a Featured Member at the galleries on Imagekind.

The inspiration for this Water Lily originated at the Nature Conservancy in Silver City, NM. Tucked in behind some tall reeds, the interplay of light and shadows across the flower petals, contrasted by the deep colors of the lily pads and the pond water, made for an exceptional compostition.
This unique artwork is a digital mosaic where the “tiles” or “stones” (tesserae or abaculus) appear to have a 3D look. The image appears to be a high quality photo of a complex and detailed mosaic. The arrangement of the apparent “stones” is such that they follow the contours of the lily and the pads and reinforce the shapes of the objects. They are not haphazardly placed. The light on the edge of each tile comes from the upper left of the image, similar to the direction from which the sunlight lights the flower.

Art by Kinnally™ - “Sands of Time“.
This unique artwork, with its image of a fish, hints of moving water and waves, and the mysterious multiple convolutions, all together make for a very unusual composition. The art has a likeness to a three dimensional fossil - but a fossil unlike anything found in nature. Still, its carved relief appears to be a snapshot of a an era gone by, and it leaves plenty of room for the imagination.
The brown, tan and gold sandy coloration, with hints of blue and cream, makes for an interesting color combination that should work well in a variety of settings.

Motive, undulating, alive, this representation of the Tao moves from event horizon to event horizon signifying the connecton between the two though the connection of a “white hole” with a black “eruption” while the entire spins and undulates, folding in, out, back, around, and upon and within itself…like the Tao itself.
