Scarlet's Decision by Stacy Lee

Scarlet’s Decision came to me in the midsts of a whirlwind. I could not get the image out of my head until she was down on the screen. I poured all the turmoil I had inside of me and outside of me into the painting. She represents anguish, confusion, doubt, and a very deep disappointment. Now, I look back on her and smile, knowing what she helped me conquer.

“Scarlet’s Decision” has graced the front page of redbubble.com two times, and both times on days when I had a difficult decision to make. I never have believed in coincidences and, thanks to Scarlet, I probably never will.
